Native American by birth and
heritage, contemporary artist through hard
work, destiny and the spirits, Jana brings
a fresh outlook and exotic style to today’s
music. Jana refers to her cultural anomaly
as “Urban Indian”. This is only a part of
her mysterious allure. Her striking looks
and powerful voice, coupled with the sensibilities
of pop, R&B, world and gospel music
create a compelling new mix that seduces
your ear and overwhelms your senses.
Along
with being a very accomplished performer
Jana has also created Jana's kids. Jana
is very dedicated to helping Native youth
in any way she can. Jana gives back to her
Native community by helping others believe
in themselves and their ability to achieve
their goals. In her travels around the country,
Jana has met with and listened to thousands
of Native youth. Their strong support is
what is making Jana's special work so successful.

Goddess
Alchemy Project Bringing forth the timeless
science!

http://www.myspace.com/goddessalchemyproject
A live, lyrical experience of “more than
one sista on the mic at a time”… this crew
gives voice to the potent medicine of Goddess
Alchemy rising. Empowering the revolution
from within, these creatresses synergize
their individual skills to weave together
an evolutionary, artistic collective grounded
in the ancient ways of women’s wisdom. In
collaboration with many artists and producers,
Goddess Alchemy’s sound alchemizes a fresh,
feminine flavor by integrating elements
of underground hip hop, world accents, spoken
word flows, and soulful melodics. Combine
this with ancient texts, quantum physics,
ancestral roots, multi-dimensional symbology,
and an all-female cipher… the result to
this equation is a new, musical science
they call “Open Source Soul Floetics”. Utilizing
multi-media as they’re tool of mass creation,
The Goddess Alchemy Project fuses music,
visual art, spoken word poetry, dance, their
al.KEM.y Designs clothing company, and community
outreach to bring sacred intention to the
forefront of artistic momentum.

Irminsul
Celtic Harp

www.irminsul.biz/index.htm
Irminsul began his experimentation with
bands of many genres, including prog-rock,
punk, heavy metal, early electronic, industrial,
hardcore, techno, trance, Celtic folk, and
world fusion.
At age 34, he took up the Celtic harp, again
self trained, and quickly gained prominence
in performing and composing for the instrument.
He played with well known Celtic acts such
as Idlewild and Stonecircle, recording several
albums with both bands. At that time he
vigorously played the festival and small
concert circuit, and performed on more than
one movie soundtrack. Later fusing the harp
with his electronic expertise, Irminsul
branched out to other music treatments -
from dramatic to commissioned works, and
began fusing music forms from other cultures
and time periods into current projects.
Chris
Hough
www.myspace.com/chrishoughband
Chris has a sound that is "retro-fresh."
While many of his compositions are challenging
technically to play, he gives the audience
something to hold on to with his clean sounding
compositions that sooth, relax, excite and,
best of all, stay with you. His grit and
energy from a musical road well traveled
translate well to the audience. And if you
ask him why he doesn’t use effects, he’ll
say, "If you can make good music, play
well, and have a good sounding guitar, what
more do you need?"
Chris will be releasing his debut original
Jazz CD in June and is looking forward to
performing in the 2008 Utah Arts Festival
and the Heaven on Earth Festival in Spring
City, Utah.

Jerry Buie presents Queer Spirit:
Queer Spirit is an unfolding of the old
stories of domestication and an unraveling
of the “you should do... ” and is an exploration
of possibilities. We look to our unique
cultural expressions, history, traditions,
roles and archetypes and ask questions,
explore and seek inspiration. Queer Spirit
is a personal passion because it feeds participants
on many levels.
It is not a religion. It is not a theology.
It is not psychology It is not therapy.
It can be the container for whatever it
needs to be. It can be the opportunity to
follow the archetype of the Visionary and
the Dreamer in the most intimate manner.
It can be the cauldron to ask the question
“Why Not? ” It is our process of exploring
potentials, possibilities and beyond.
